On January 1, 2015, we entered Title Boxing Club and signed up for a membership. With the membership, we have unlimited access to classes and clubs around the nation. With the membership, we also have the opportunity to burn up to 1,000 calories in one Power Hour and train our bodies to reach and surpass fitness goals. With the membership, I realized, we also gained a few more perks:
- A new way to feel proud of what my body can accomplish. After just three sessions, I know that the physical changes aren’t visible, but mentally I am different. Wanna spar? No, I’m just kidding.
- A new way for Matthew and I to bond together. Who knew helping one another with wraps could be so romantic?
- A new way to relieve stress. To be honest, I’ve picture quite a few people while I’ve been doing my combinations. It feels nice to be able to let the angst I have from a rough day at work or memory of a friendship gone south out with every jab cross hook hook jab cross.
- A new way to be content with life. Not that I needed this one, but it’s nice to have multiple sources of contentment.
